iFacilitate's collaborates with others and facilitates cross-cultural and interdisciplinary ventures in the field of peacebuilding. The work enables interaction between divided groups, and supports them in building relationships and in developing skills in managing conflict constructively.  By doing so, the capacity of community groups to engage with each other is enhanced and those involved are better able to deal with divisions and tensions that are the aftermath of destructive conflicts.  By creating safe spaces, inspiring, giving hope, and energising people, iFacilitate nurtures the first steps in opening up spaces for dialogue and in enabling change to take place. 

In particular, use is being made of science in developing skills of critical inquiry, communication and peer collaboration. The applicability of systems thinking in dealing with complexity and uncertainty, and the role that theatre, music and humour can play in peacebuilding is also being explored. The approach is participatory, drawing on the knowledge and expertise of local stakeholders, and evolving and developing learning and training offerings to meet their needs. 

iFacilitate makes extensive use of online communication tools and approaches in building relationships and in collaborating on international projects.
